Promised you some feedback of Gaia bags (got them from another dealer) fitting in an
Esquif Canyon. Here it is.. hope the info will be helpfull for other Canyon-paddlers in
need for new bags.
Pictures were taken last weekend on the North see beach of Domburg, where we went
\"surfing\" with our Canyon. Wow that was fun. Huge waves (up to 2 meter height) and lots
of fun punching the large breaking waves... Only found that our Canyon was little too
large (long) for surfing in front of the large waves... bow kept digging in on the bottom
of the wave.. A heavily rockered short playboat would be better perhaps... ;-)
36\" Gaia end bags fit nicely in the canyon as you can see. The Gaia Center bag is little
too short (could be 6\" or 8\"longer and little too narrow (not wide enough) - could be
4\"or 6\" wider. But the short bag leaves space for a dry bag or day pack just below the
thwart. Or when rotated 90 degrees would make a nice half split bag, leaving a lot of
space for gear/quipment.
Hope next year we will be comming to the C-Boat Armada... perhaps we\'ll meet there (or in
some other place..). Who knows.
